Javelin Advertising and Marketing Ltd. Was founded in Dublin as a full service advertising and marketing agency, by Paul Myers, Joe Dobbin and Conor Kennedy in May, 1986. Eighteen months later we formed an associate company, Javelin Direct, to specialise in direct marketing (which at the time was a largely ignored field in this country).
In 1990 Javelin entered into an affiliation with Young & Rubicam Inc. following an approach by them. The company name was changed to Javelin / Young & Rubicam. Javelin Digital, set up in 2000, is a full service digital communications consultancy. Its area of expertise includes strategic planning, research, web-site creation, development and the planning and purchasing of on-line media.
Today the group offers significant, integrated local capabilities, with the resources of the world's largest communications organisation to draw on whenever required, either to support our clients locally or to act for them internationally.
