About Avenue Media
Avenue Media was set up in July 1999 when a consortium of Irish investors led by Vincent Whelan, purchased the assets of Salepoint/Adbox in The Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and United Kingdom. Over the past five years under a new management team and with a major capital investment Avenue Media has substantially increased its all Ireland six sheet market share from 6% in 1999 to a current market share of 23%.
Avenue Media operates from purpose built premises comprising offices and service unit in Bray, Co. Wicklow. Three service teams in the Republic of Ireland and one in Northern Ireland are supported by two recognised Outdoor industry sub-contractors.
Avenue Media also offers extensive urban and national 6 sheet coverage and is recognised as an influential force within the Outdoor Industry.
In 2004 Adbox 6 was launched in the UK with a major capital investment.
Avenue currently has 1000 6 Sheet sites in situ with a projected 2000 locations by the end of 2005.
Avenue Media is a member of The Outdoor Media Association (OMA) and subscribes to a code of best practise for the Outdoor Industry.
